My Story

Hello. My name is Kim.

or in the internet world, KM (my real name is wayyyy too long)

I am a 20 something year old who enjoys a peaceful life in the country while simultaneously living for the drama in the stories I find myself reading or watching everyday.

Before my life in the quiet countryside, I lived a life full of chaos in the world we call musical theatre and film.

"In order to act, you need to be human. In order to sing, you need to understand emotions. In order to dance, you need to have the knowledge and experience of movement. In order to tell a story, you must know all when it comes to storytelling..."

Childhood

I found myself the main character for a little children's play called "The Elves and the Shoemaker". And though I enjoyed playing the character, I found myself loving the story more...

I went on to do school plays, summer theatre camps, and then, I found myself doing theatre part time in high school where I found out I had potential.

My parents found a school who had a theatre program, and I was able to take all the classes the school had to offer year after year. Though it was difficult, I knew I found my passion. I took acting and singing classes and participated in all their musicals, plays, and shows. But the biggest things I took away from that school was the ability to understand the power of storytelling.

Adulthood

When I went off to college at the bright age of 19, I challenged myself to know more about storytelling.

...

It's been several years since I focused on storytelling... But I believe I am ready to revisit the stories of old and new.

Will you join me?
