About Kim

Hello, my name is Kim.

I am a 20 something year old who enjoys a peaceful life in the country while simultaneously living for the drama in the stories I find myself reading everyday.

Before my life in the quiet countryside, I lived a life of full of chaos and drama in the world we called musical theatre.

My Story

At the age of six...

I found myself the main character for a little children's play called "The Elves and the Shoemaker". And though I enjoyed playing the character, I found myself loving the story more...

I went on to do school seasonal plays, summer theatre camps, and soon, I found myself doing theatre part time in high school where I found my true potential...

My parents found a school who had a theatre program, and I was able to take all the classes the school had to offer year after year. Though it was difficult, I knew I found my passion. I took acting and singing classes and particiated in all of their musicals and plays. But the biggest thing I took away from that school was the ability to understand the power of storytelling...

In order to act, you need to be human. In order to sing, you need to understand emotions. In order to dance, you need to have the knowledge and experience of movement. In order to tell a story, you must know all when it comes to musical theatre...

I challenged myself to know more about storytelling when I went off to college at the bright age of 19. And though I did learn lots from the institution, I felt I lost that passion along the way...

It's been several years since I focused on storytelling... But I believe I am ready to revisit the stories of old and new...

As C.S. Lewis says, “Someday you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.”

Will you join me?
